NCE-ES Certification

A couple of weeks ago I blogged that Novell released the exam for NCE-ES certification.
So Yesterday I took the exam. And passed!!!!!
It was a practical exam like CLP9 and 10. As a European I got 210 minutes to complete the exam, but it took me
about 40 minutes to complete.

    How i can contact you?.

    I,m current Cne 6 migrating my servers to OES2, I´ve bought 3089, and 3090, Now I`m studying the 3090 course, but i can find any example about the exam, the questions are similar to worbook?

      As you may know, the NCE-ES exam is a practical exam.
      If you do the exam you will get two virtual servers, where on you have to perform
      4 tasks. The exercises in the workbook of the N3090 are simtilar to the one in the exam.
      But is not a step bij step test. for example you may get a question that ask you to create a Netstorage drive. If Netstorage isn’t installed you have to figure out for your self how to install and configure.

    Now I`m studying 3090 course (On demand training, and self-study kit), I din´t want to study 3089 course I think that isn`t necesary. isn`t it?

    What is your opinion about ZLM? I`ve 1226 servers, 89 now in OES2 and so on …Now i have SMT,

      Hi, I think the N3089 is crucial for the N3090 if you want to troubleshoot. For you NCE-ES exam you must know a
      few thinks about Linux. You can get a question about scripting. So you need to know your command and how Linux works.
      Currently I’m teaching the N3090 and I have one student who has a lack of Linux experience. Today we covered XEN and the first
      migration part. He can finish the exercises but must later than his fellow students.

      If you have 1226 servers a good tool to manage the servers is crucial.
      I don’t have any practical experience with ZLM. So if this is the rights tool for you I cannot tell.
      What do you want to accomplish with the tool?
